Were these actually layered and expoy'd with real carbon fiber or are these merely carbon fiber print molded overlays??? Looks good either way.

Looks good either way. Thanks Guys! I love those. I dunno how to descibe, but for sure not Real Carbon Fibre, just look a like. In fact, it's not DIY, and some sort on CF Sticker on top. I assumed those should be CF Print that is very very .... thin, perhaps glue those on top and use hot gun/hair dryer to mount it on top, and finally mount with a clear coat. The outcome is pretty good, those words "AUTO", "RELAY", "FUSE" or sign still noticable after the CF coating. Still have lots of color to choose from, like Titanium Silver, 2 more CF and lots of wooden pattern. The hardest part is remove those small parts from the car pcs by pcs and re-install those, but it's worth. -------------------- |

QUOTE(azian_advanced @ Nov 25, 2006 - 2:29 AM) looks like you did a good job... A+ The shop did a very good job, not me, I just need to remove those, long travel to Mainland China, choose Color, but require to go again next date for pick up, then paid and brought those back and reinstall. Although, Hong Kong is part of China, we still need to cross border with public transport, can't drive thru, need special vehicle plate to drive into China, China is LHD and Hong Kong is RHD, and the traffic in China is pretty COOL, 5-6 cars horizontally at 3 lanes, lol However, the sweetest things are everthing in China is relatively cheaper than in Hong Kong, especially the Labor cost. I got a pretty good deal in this project, I finally made 17 pcs this time!! This post has been edited by vincent_doggy: Nov 24, 2006 - 5:03 PM -------------------- |

I took those pics at the nite time, once with Flash on, the clear coat on the CF made all the reflection and result in blink blink and can't see anything. So, I switch off the flash + Automatically more exposure + my shaking hands = fuzzy pics. Nope! Those pillows bought in Thailand, Bangkok last year. cost me like $15 bucks for both, kinda cute, I love those. U love Red Stitched a lot to complete your ssIII interior, I also try hard to look for a ssIII red stitched Steerling wheel but of course no luck. Something you might interest a lot, the shop that made CF interior for me, could also re-mount leather seats, that's mean they could mount the arm rest with leather or artificial leather and with whatever color stitching upon request. Martin, one thing u have to check for me. Any different size and spec for the arm rest? if most of the armrest of 6GC are same size like mine. I might help to order some Red stitched Black Leather cover and let u guys re-mount to your stock one. I think the cost would be @ 20 bucks + another 10 bucks for shipping, coz those are light weight anyway. This post has been edited by vincent_doggy: Nov 24, 2006 - 4:16 PM -------------------- |

All LHD models has the same and all RHD models too. However I believe size is the same and difference is just in angle of cup holder and place where arm rest lock is placed... -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution...
