Yeah it'll fit, but you'll need to use the plug from your 5S harness.

Woops my bad. i got mine off of a 3s mr2, you have to change the electrical piece to it and the one i got is 90amp.
Celica's 5sfe MT = 70amp 5sfe AT = 80amp 3sgte = 80amp mr2 3sgte = 90amp w/power steering This post has been edited by My2Celi: Nov 29, 2006 - 5:47 PM -------------------- <--- I miss :'' (

ive been using my 5sfe one for years. but, i did have to cut off the harness plug and wire it into the 3s harness for it to work.

According to all the parts stores I looked at the 3s alternator is a 70 amp.
3sgte turbo http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?U...Action=loadPage 5sfe 2.2 http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker/?...&PageSync=7 Lagos what all is involved in switching the plug over? Is it the same one wire set up? This post has been edited by Rjb23: Nov 30, 2006 - 2:23 PM |

To go from a 3SGTE alt plug to a 6gc 5SFE plug?

Update replaced it with a alternator off a 5sfe out of a camry and it worked fine. Hooks up the same way just no stupid air duct anymore. Its charging at 14v now. Didn't have to rewire anything.
