seeing as i dont know a whole lot about cars, but im interested due to celicas cough*(amazing)* cough, what is the best way as to learning about internals and engine swapping. im going to be a senior in HS and want to know the best way to start learning about engines and related issues the right way and not experimenting and destroying the car. I plan on doing auto mechanics in college as a minor so i would like to have a little experience before i get there. thanks for any help or advise you can give me.

Go try and get a job at a body shop or something like that it will get you giong in the right direction, just make sure it is a reputable shop. You should learn a lot just from being around real mechanics. Even if you are just changing oil and doing a little electrical stuff you will learn a lot just by being there.
