Gee its just my luck. It's been 2 weeks since i got my car back from the bodyshop. Left my g/f's house with my g/f to drive around. Got stopped at a stop light and bang. A semi with a trailer rear ended me. Didn't do much damage but it just sucks i got my whole car repainted so the paint would all match. And now i gotta get my whole rear bumper re-painted. Just thought i would share with my fellow 6gcers.

Yea my tails are fine. The only thing that needs to be done is to re-paint my bumper and lip. Luckily i don't have to replace the bumper. It was his fault and was reported. My rear lip is molded to my bumper. So if i had to replace the bumper i would have to replace the lip and everything since it's molded.

Yea i think since its just the rear bumper that needs re-painted i'm gonna go ahead and have my main bodyman redo it. Because he doesn't like to work with fiberglass thats why i had this other person do all the work in the first place. But now since its just a little paint touch up i might just have him do it. Just sucks that stuff like this happends.

You have a fiber glass rear bumper and it held up to even a slight hit by a Semi? That's pretty incredible. Really sux though man. Hope everything - color included - comes out alright.

God I hate Murphey's Law! Anything bad that can happen, will happen...or something like that. I am like a mascot for Murphey's Law, sorry to hear about your bumper. But like you said, it'd be worse if the mold broke or something.

Yea i'll get a pic up and negative, i only have a fiberglass lip. I have the Stock rear bumper with a lip. Luckily i didn't get a fiberglass bumper it would of been really gone.

No my g/f was with me. She wasn't driving. She doesn't like to drive my car. But yea it sucks. I'll get some pictures posted. Its not that bad just got my estimate its only $400 dollars of damage. Not to shabby for a semi and car wreck. But thanks guys im just lucky it wasn't any worse and that nobody got hurt.
