And she aboslutely FALLS IN LOVE with the GT4 front end. mad.gif laugh.gif mad.gif I wish I had shown her that BEFORE the body shop ordered, painted, and installed a brand new OEM front end while repairing our Deer strike incident.

So.......now the question becomes....how expensive is the front end conversion and what's involved? She wouldn't shut up about it so I KNOW it's coming down the line.

Check the sticky. There is a list of everything you need and where to get it. Price is around 1200 or so.

I will return one day.

hahahahaha

I was going to suggest doing the GT-Four front end when I read the "crashed" post you made. Like Jeff said, all the part #s are in the sticky and usually caosts about $1200 for everything.

What's the name of the kit or the company who develops it? Been waiting on the wide body kit, but if this is real i'm going with this.

With the regard to the "and whats involved" part:

The actual installation is fairly easy. If you order all the parts you're supposed to, it doens't take that much. If you've never taken apart the front bumper off, and have to learn that for the first time, probably looking at about 4-5 hours. If you've done it before, the work shouldn't take you more than a few hours.

The tricky part is the hood latch. Either get the real gt-4 hood latch (hard to find sometimes) or you have to weld on an extension to the existing hood latch. I welded mine, and can send you pictures if you want.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

ps- If you're going to do the conversion, you should think about getting the projector headlights, and clear high beams. They look really awesome. Although it is an additional $700 or so.

thats a mkiv supra kit which has been modified to fit the celica,
i agree with Tufy, that car needs a frot mount intercooler behind the bottom gap, that mesh just looks ****e..
personally i think that car is a bit over the top...
i prefer the standard look,

Playr, if the pic that tufy posted hasn't been photoshopped, then why does it not have foglights, but in your pic it does?

it was fotoshopped to remove the fog lights that was it.....my referance was to the entire bumper rolleyes.gif
since the discussion was about the bumper...not the fogs
