I have a 97 celica gt. In my interior wiring harness I have a spot below my steering column that says OBD II. Since mine is fried and crisp and acting stupid from time to time. Especially this morning when i was driving, I try to adjust my side mirrors with my controller, I start to see smoke coming from the control buttons and now its not working. Something in my wires are not right. I met a guy that has a white 94 celica gt, hes parting it out cause his son drove it into a house... Its an obI harness and I was wandering will that interior harness work with my car if i took all of the wiring harness including the fuse box from the driverside?

no the harness wont work, anyways it sounds like you have a short and someone "fixed it" by using a larger fuse.

yea i definately have a short somewhere. I just cant find where. ive checked everywhere and possibly can not find the problem. The fuse and amps are correct. The only thing i can think was that i used an automatic dash wiring harness.
