see how far the caliper separted from the housing.

i knew my wheel was grinding yesterday i jsut thought the pads were low, i didin know i was missing a bolt.

do i have to buy a new caliper, or just bolt back togheter?

***update/1/06/07***

got the bolt I needed from the toyota dealership for a couple bucks, then on saturday me and my budddy jason installed the new cross drilled rotors and ceramic pads, ran into a few road bumps, some off those bolts were in their tight! esp the two 10mm ones on the back of the rotor. But once we got one side done, the other side was a breeze less then half the time of the first side. Passenger side rotor did not want to come off but some wd-40 and few hits and spins with a hammer and it finally came off. Sad to say one hammer did not make it, it literally snapped, and not the stem the actual hammer , damn cheap china crap. Anyway also painted the caliper, sweet lol. Gotta say big improvement just can't wait till their broke in now!
no more cleaning brake dust for me!!!

I wouldn't try to reuse it. It might be POSSIBLE to, but then it'd just be a question of how long THAT would last. I say just get a new caliper...they're not TOO expensice.

have someone step on the brake and see if the caliper still works and if it does why not just try buying a new bolt for a buck or 2.

i agree with lew, the caliper should be just fine. goto the dealer and get a new bolt, its not your typical hardware store grade of hardware.
