Is it legal to get a spoiler without the LED light if you don't have one in the rear windshield? I always wondered if that rear light was on cars because of legal requirements.

Dont think it makes any difference, its just a styling thing.
As long as you have the standard break lights you dont need them. wink.gif

Heres the thing, if you dont have one then its not illegal, but if you have one, and it doesnt work, then yes its technically illegal. If you have a light in your spoiler tho, your good.

Yeah, maybe that was worded better, biggrin.gif ,
basically if youve got a break light not working, as a driver from behind, you cant really tell whether its not working or your just not breaking, if the light is completely removed then so is the confusion...
