Wait Alex. I think maybe this should be more similar to the Austin meet we had a few years back. Austin was good and central so we had several cars from Houston, SA and Dallas as well as Austin and some smaller towns. All in all we had like 75 cars. If we do it in SA or Austin it would be way cool plus I don't see anyone driveing very far to go to nasty a$$ galveston. Good idea though. Let's see what people say. The point of trying to set the meet up this far in advance is to make sure you guys can make it. I'm good for any weekend but I'm partial to Sat, March31st to Sun, April 1st as Sun is my b-day and this would keep with the traditonal weekend for the Texas Toyota Meet we started 2 years ago.
That weekend work for everyone? Or would you prefer something else?
I caution you guys not to make it for much sooner than that or we will run into scheduling problems and over priced Hotels for the one night.
On the subject of Hotels - we could do like last time and split the cost for a couple of rooms between 4 people per room. The SA guys obviously have a home to go to so they need not worry about it unless they just want to.

Yeah - it should be stated [although it's pretty obvious] - No drinking for under aged attendees, also no drugs. No drinking before a car related event [ie. a cruise]. Drinking would be reserved for during/after dinner by legal age adults and should be done on the river walk where we will not be required to leave our underage friends out of the fun.

No - HTC has a long standing tradition of having non-Toyota cars at our meets. We try to be cool with all tuners even though we do give people **** sometimes - but it's all in fun and they will know it. Notice the Non-Toyota car roll call above? Have them sign up so we know what we are looking at.

Saturday is the HTC Hooter's get together. It's not only for HTC members so if anyone on here wants to come you are welcome.

The specifics:
Where: Hooter's 290 [by tinseltown]
When: 8:PM-9PM - meet in parking lot and check out cars/meet people
9-9:30PM - go inside get table. Eat-whenever-then cruise? Someone check to see if the PZ meet is going on.

The rules:
No alcohol, drugs or acting like a ricer Honda driver with [but not limited to] burnouts, tailgating, bumping stereo's etc.

The Texas Toyota Meet:
Currently there are two potential dates that you can add your vote to: March 17th-18th and March 31st-April 1st. We will let democracy decide this as well but we need to hurry so we can post this at other Toyota related sites without too much confusion. See mine and Bluufire's votes below.
