GT (3SGE) Intake, What fits? Options

Hi Guys,

Anyone know which intakes will fit my car, I have the 3SGE model with a different engine layout to most of the other celicas on this site.

Any pictures I have seen of polished intakes so far are based on the American engine.

If you look at my profile there is a picture of my engine in there.
The intake/throttle body area seems to be about 3-4 inches more towards the front of the car meaning that the intakes pictured in the forums will not fit, also if you look just behind my airbox there is an induction resonator attached to the plastic induction pipe.

If I were to get a polished induction pipe what would happen to this "resonator"?

Any help would be appreciated as I am looking forward to getting the car modded asap.

If you can, going over to JapSpeed in England (don't know where). They make custom CAI's for the 6th gen GT's with the 3SGE.

take a look at my profile.. I also have 3SGE and I made a custom one and it worked
fine. but im sure there are better ways to do it.

Do injen do an induction/CAI kit for the 3SGE?

I don't think that injen makes one for the 3s-ge, and if they do I have never seen it. What I would do was just go and buy some flexable exhaust piping and and filter and just do a custom one. There is a picture of somebody on here that did that on the end of his injen intake, but you could just bolt it up to the intake maniflod and then just make a little hole and take it to a weld shop and they should be able to make something for the o2 sensor (and it should cost hardly any money). Also you can buy engine paint and paint the intake any color you would want. this is what I would do. And it should only cost about 100 dollars
