all I found was this
the 3sge compared to the 3sgte camshafts QUOTE(scothaniel @ Feb 2, 2007 - 4:01 PM) The GE camshafts have a slightly longer duration, so you'll gain a little power. Very minor compared to a set of aftermarket cams. taken from this thread http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=41160 -------------------- |

1st gen 3SGE/GTE cams can ONLY be changed for the same gen engines.
2nd and 3rd gen 3SGE/GTE are interchangeable between each other. GE has longer duration than GTE cams, so they can be a cheap upgrade. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay for them. You ALWAYS have to reshim if you change the cams in the engine. Good time to go to the shimless conversion from the ZZ engines. -------------------- |
