ok i was wanting to know would a 20v silver top head work on a 7afe block and could you use the 20v pistons with a lower compression ratio and a set of costom rods to build a 20v 7agte hybrid or am i just crazy biggrin.gif , it is something i was thinking about. wink.gif ok i did a little research and found my answer but i need so help with what parts i need to do this.

it can be done... but you can get more hp with less mods wit a 3s swap

well i know the 3s will give me more but i have seen the 7agte put out 400hp and i know nik got like 320hp or so and i want to be a little differant.

No need to delete this thread. I like the idea of a 7age. It's just a bigger 4age. I don't think the 20v head would be easy at all though. I figure the blue top would be a good bit easier.

20V is easier

With the varied timing of the 20 valve, and the added 4 valves, I figured it would be weird to wire up and get to work mechanically. I’m still not very good with a lot of aspects of working on motors. That’s why I tend to lean towards older motors with fewer wires, especially the ones with carbs. I trust what you're saying, but I would like it if you would elaborate a little.

Off topic but, my current interest is taking a 16 valve Suzuki G16 SOHC, and putting 4 bike carbs on it and dropping it in my 90’ Metro. That, or taking the stock G10 and putting carbs on it. That should be me a heart stopping 60-70hp.

Uh not really. A 7A will never turn the rpms a 4a will.(formula atlantic type rpms)
