Yeah people have swapped the beams into the 6th gen. If you take a look in the stickies you will find more than enough information on the beams swap. The link below will take you right to the swap page.

outsider did a redtop swap in his car...runs and every thing.
EDIT: I think the only problems he had was that the wiring harness and diagram were all in japaneese, so he hadda go out and get it translated into english. and the oem tach wouldnt work with the beams motor, so he had to go out and buy a beams tach or an entire cluster. very do-able. especially since you have a gt. only problem i know of is that it is an extremely expensive and rare engine. i used to want one too. but then i found out that a v6 swap would be more practical.

the beams bolts directly into a gt. but it'll cost something like $2000+ for just the engine. and because its rare, finding replacement parts will be a lil more difficult. and more expensive cuz you'll probably have to import everything. you can get a decent v6 locally for under a thousand plus you can get replacement parts easily. it'll just take more work to swap it into your car.

The BEAMS redtop is 200hp. I have done this swap in a 5th gen Celica, it's not bad at all. I can take care of the wiring too if anyone is concerned about that.
