Last night as i arrived back in Houston from picking up my GF from her dad's house in Brenham, tx. we almost died. It was freaky to say the least. I exited the freeway and pulled up to the light in the right hand lane and was waiting for the light to turn. My GF was sleeping and I looked in the mirror, just checking as I always do and I see this white caprice exit the freeway at what looked like 100MPH and he was heading right for me across 3 lanes of open road. I braced myself got my right arm across my GF and prepared to kiss my a$$ goodbye. This Psycho jumps the curb not 5 feet behind me on my RH side, drives up the little hill of grass [which was about 3 feet tall] over the sidewalk and jumps over the thing onto the crossroad making a very hard right and hauls it down that road at WOT. All of this without slowing down. I was freaked man. The car came no more than a foot away from mine and could easily have lost control at anytime. Then I hear sirens and look in my mirror and two cop cars are duplicating his manuver right towards me. I quickly made the right and pulled into the gas station before they got to me so they could go arrest the guy/girl.
I'm still a little freaked. I don't want my GF or my car to ever end up like that. Me - I can handle but they are way to important. Don't wanna drive anywhere but on the track anymore. -------------------- |

QUOTE(JesterDC @ Mar 13, 2007 - 3:26 AM) You from Houston too? If so you're the 4th person in a month I've talked to from Houston on here. We need to have another meet. I think there may be almost 10 6gc'ers in Houston. -------------------- |

Yeah, remember that one chase that the guy went up the on ramp the wrong way and hit the car with the Grandma, Mom, and baby in it? It was right before all the police chase policy bull crap. I was trying to find it on google video but couldn't oh well...
A meet this summer would be awesome |

Wow, glad your ok - must have been well scary.
I thought it was bad enough when I was in Minneapolis and a mad cabby decided to sit us across the tram way but at least trams go a lot slower even if they do weigh more |

I can't even describe the experience really. It seems tame enough but the guy hit a 6" curb @ 100mph [Iguess - seemed like it but I was sittin still] and ran up a 3' hill sideways where I could see the top of his car out of my sunroof. Then he took that corner like a drifter.
I still flinch at every car that pulls up behind me at a light. Thanks for ya'lls words. -------------------- |
