Depends where you go....
Probably over $500, especially if you go to a good shop. Dealer is going to be close to $1000. Do you have a CEL on? Do a leakdown test first. Or at least a compression test. Make sure the HG is leaking. If it is, you most likely warped the head when you overheated it, so plan on a head resurface as well. AND, while you're in there, it won't hurt to do a timing belt/water pump... The Rav4 is a bit of a PITA because the engine sits down further from the "top" of the bay. It will take some moderate skills to do this. If you're unsure, it might not be best to do it yourself.... -------------------- |

problem solved
when the engine overheated, the spark plug cables got roasted so the spark wasnt getting to the cylinder. got new spark plug cables and its back 2 life runs like new! so driving like 60 miles on the highway with no civilization with an overheating car is bad... ima change the antifreeze in the celica now so this wont happen again -------------------- Is this good enuff 4 ya? :D
