quick question - a 1156 bulb will only glow one brightness - a 1157 bulb will glow "dim" then glow "bright" correct?
i ask because im looking to convert to LED tailight bulbs and how mine are set up now are as listed form left to right as if looking at the back of the car: just parking lights: dim dim off dim dim on breaks: bright dim on dim bright sooooo hte bulbs would be like this correct: 1157 1156 194?? 1156 1157 i really wanna keep just the outside ones lighting up because i like the look, but i want to go to led bulbs if my logic and understand is correct then i should just be able to get 1157 and 1156 bulbs to make this work (3rd brake light staying normal for now) -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

I think that all 1157 bulbs are usually a blinker bulb. Because there are two parts inside the bulb one for blinking and the other to be on with the lights.
