Hi

I recently had a leak repaired but now it seems i have another one. 2 drips fall to the grounds, one from directly in the middle on the engine and the other about 3 inches in front of the sump. the dripping stops after a while when the car is off and stationary, what does than mean?

if it helps, the repairs where to replace the rocker gasket, crank shift and drive shaft seals, since then i have had this leak.

anyway, if anyone has any ideas id appreciate the help

Is your drain plug tightened down all the way? Thats where I would start. Try getting up underneath the car and cleaning everything up - when the leak comes back you will be able to see exactly where it is at.

Exactly
Clean it up and locate where it's coming from.
Are you sure both are oil?

i took it to my garage for a quick look, they said its coming from the sump and it is only a small leak, they also said keep an eye on it and if if it gets worse take it in

so they say i got the choice of leaving it or getting the work done. the drips are annoying but i cant afford another garage bill at the moment so think i will put it off for a while
