it'll only fit 94 and 95's

It shouldn't make a big difference. Does the 97' models have a o2 sensor in the rear cat. converter before the resonator? If it does, then you can go two ways. Either have an exhaust shop weld on a magnaflow OB2 cat. converter with the built-in o2 sensor bung straight to the original piping, or they can just drill a hole and weld a o2 sensor bung in the piping after the cat. converter. Either way it should work.
