bloody h3ll, i didn't know the echo was called the PLATZ in new zealand!

that's hilarious!

(nice find, btw. not familiar with the economy in nz, but $11,755 US seems like a smoking deal)

Orignally it was a Echo in NZ the they changed it to YAris for the latest gen. The Platz is a japanese import, like the celica. For interests sake the NZ dollar is buying 74 us cents I am not sure if that still makes it a great deal?

i believe so, at least the later 98+ models do.
i think the later 98 models have the red cloth seats/stitching and the silver center dash and vent panels... and a bunch of other good stuff (3-spoke steering wheel, projectors, SS-IIIs have spoiler blocks and white 5 spoke rims, while the GT4s have the newer type spoiler blocks and 6 spoke rims) just to name a few...
