hey guys.
just got the new Berk Technology V3 3" downpipe. Bryan is an Awesome guy, who 100% stands behind his product. i currently have the berk tech V1, which i had a problem with. it cracked on me, and once i emailed bryan, he sent out a replacement right away. for some reason, the DP he sent did not fit as well as the first ( it hit my AC lines). so, he agreed to pay for the cost of having the original pipe fixed, while i used the poor fitting one in the meantime. once it was repaired, i sent back the 2nd DP, and he payed for the repair. it cost 45$ to fix the pipe, and i paid for an additional hr (another 45$) for the welder to repolish the pipe. i asked bryan to cover only the 45$ for welding, and he insisted on paying for everything. after a while, the DP started cracking again. i once again emailed him, and he told me he would send me ANOTHER DP or, i could wait for his new DP to be released. so i told him, i'd wait, and man, was it worth it. he sent me this, FREE OF CHARGE. damn, if only the whole world was like this. yes, that is a flex pipe build right into it. this thing is awesome. this is the inside of the flex section: its also welded along the inner seams of the flanges: im hoping ill have a chance to install it this weekend, if not, it will prolly be a few weeks before i get it in, the CSP meet is next weekend. bryan has a GB running on these over on mr2oc.com, im not sure if they are available on his website www.berktechnology.com yet. he was running a pre-production gb @ ~150$ then he is going to have a normal GB @ ~ 200$ then the normal price after that will be 250$ ill let you know how it fits and works on the 5sfte soon! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I'm getting one too. I was just hoping some one with AC in a 6th gen would get theirs on first so that I know if it's going to clear. Hopefully I can still get in on the $150 price by then. If not, no big deal it's worth every bit of $200.

ok guys, so we got it installed a couple weekends ago, with the help of jeff and dustin, with a couple minor hiccups.
first, the new dp touches my a/c lines. its not so tight that i cant fit it, but it does rest against one of the flanges for the line. i could have just bent the line a tiny bit, and prolly actually will, now that im thinking about it..lmao the DP is also slightly off from the V1 pipe. not a problem with smaller exhausts i would assume, but with the 3" it makes the B pipe rattle against the subframe now and then. if your having your exhaust made after the DP install, it wont be a problem at all. even with them small issues, i still like the pipe overall, i think the flex section is a great thing. here are a few more pics. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Sounds great. I got mine on the way. I don't think I should have issues since I am having my exhaust made after this DP install!
