20's FTL

At that point you will need air ride, because there is no way you can fit 20's in there on any spring.

20's FTL

17's FTW

btw you should air ride it...pretty much the only way they'll fit and it'll look a whole lot better

Nope it aint a problem! wink.gif I've got some 19's with 215/35r19 in front and in the back 245/30r19 tires and they do fit just fine. If your going with twenties which are 7,5" wide you should be going with something like 215/30r20 tires or so to make it fit. Ofcourse 30 profile is little low tire but it aint that bad to ride - trust me. So it is possible without any modifications. End.

Smaller wheel = Handling and Acceleration and ride comfort
Large wheel = no handling , poor acceleration and rough as hell ride

large rims look good but there is a point where too big is too big....IMO 20's look out of place on our small cars. 2 cents

hes saying 17's are outdated and he wants to do something a little bigger that puts him above the margin (meaning above those with smaller wheels). In that sense 20's would be good for some flashy attention, but im more with the 19's like Nibbe if somebody is wanting some big wheels that look really good

first off, he askes us if 20x7.5" would fit not if we liked his choice...
yes it will fit!!!! over all tire size that fits our cars is 26.3 in... as long as the tires over all size is smaller than that it will fit and clear all fenders with no problem!!! also i would go no wider than a 215 with this wheel size...

We're not saying they don't fit. 20" wheels will fit with some very very skinny tires (30 profile) and that will destroy any and all ride quality.

If you like them, then do them. I bought 17's because I have to drive my car everyday quite a bit and I want to enjoy it. I don't want to take my car to shows or win trophy's nor do I want to have to drive slow over any bump or pothole and there's a lot of those in my area. I honestly think rims that are too big look ridiculous with the little rubber band tires on them, especially big rims on a sporty car. On an Escalade or a Caddy, no prob, the look fits them, but not on a sporty car, but hey, that's just me.

Do you have other plans for your car? I never knew someone that won at a show with just big wheels.
