For everyone who is not sure about arm rest cover installation
![]() 1. dismount arm rest (everyone will handle for sure ![]() see stock surface after years is really ugly and dents are deep ![]() ![]() 2. remove six screws below ![]() ...and you will see inside of arm rest... ![]() ...where absolutely nothing is needed to do. If you want you should remove OEM cover but it's glued really tight. Personally I didn't do that... and I recommend not to do that as well! ![]() 3. find right direction of new cover ![]() ...cuz one side is tinner! However it can be recognized easily. 4. pull out new cover (I believe it's better that way...) ![]() I have used needle and bit thicker stitch. Also is necessary make some holes for screws... 5. screw arm rest together ![]() It's bit harder because of stitching inside. Also this step will a bit more pull out new cover again. ![]() You can see no dents visible and cover fit's perfect... (that's why I recommend keep OEM cover where it is) 6.install arm rest to the car again... (piece a cake ![]() results are below: ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by malpaso: Feb 22, 2008 - 2:22 AM -------------------- No more replicas... This is evolution... This is SS-four :)

Well I just installed mine today after i came home from doing a mid-term (actually did it while I was at work).
ETA: 1.5 Hours approx I had to cut mine because when it came for the part to do the stitching, it was too long. In the beginning (airbrushed yellow) ![]() Then the cutting.. ![]() Final product! ![]() |
