ebay has some of the lowest prices but keep in mind that they say that the things have a manufacturers warranty but they are lying...one of my friends tried to get them to replace it and Pioneer told them that they have ZERO companies that operate primarily on ebay that are authorized dealers... so my friend had to pay to have it fixed.

Also i have seen newsletters that my cousin gets (he works at the local stereo shop) from all their companies about internet selling..

here is a list of what they have and what companies say that they dont offer warranties unless they buy from an authorized dealer and NONE of those dealers are on ebay for the bulk of their business

JBL
Sony
MB Quart
Streetwires
Alumapro
Diamond
Power Base
JL Audio
Panasonic
Pioneer
Planet Audio
Sirius
XM Satellite Radio
Monster Cable
EUROLITE3

all those companies say that they dont offer warranties to items purchased over the internet from wholesalers.

Here's a nice one - it's the Pioneer AVH-P6500DVD

It has a 6.5 inch touch screen, plays CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW, Video CD, MP3, has built in tuner etc

Pioneer P6500DVD Link

Its MSRP is $US1900 - Depending on what you want and how much you have to spend, there is also the Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD which has a 7 inch screen and has a $US2700 MSRP.

The Touchscreen is cool - if u want finger prints on ur screen. I was looking into getting this combo but i found the new Sony Xplod deck which I am in love with so im getting that instead. The Panasonic 7'' screen/dvd combo is pretty good, and good looking. Alpine makes good stuff, but looks like something outta the mid 90's.

I was going to get a separate TV and DVD, so that if one breaks, i can still use the other. I can give you a name of someone selling a Panasonic DVD player if u'd like.

Well I went to this custom shop by my house and they told me if I wanted to they could custom fit a tv into my dash (actually cut the dash to fit the tv in) and then install a dvd/cd player somewhere else, probably under the glove compartment or something like that. They said they could do it all for $900 (includes tv and everything) I was thinking if I did this, what I would do is take out my stock cd/tape player, since its the double deck kind, and that would be a big space, and then probably have to cut a little bit more out to fit the tv in the dash. Its just an idea tho. Any opinions on whether this is a good thing to do or not?

If they did a good job, it would probably look really awesome! If you still want a in-dash tv/dvd, I'd suggest you look into the Alpine IVA-D900. If I had the money, thats what I'd get.
