So ive decided to stop buying cheap crappy sunglasses and finally get myself a pair of nicer ones but i have no idea what what brands to look into. I already have a pair of aviators so I'm looking for a sleeker frame. If anyone has a favorite brand that has good quality post it up.

I've had a pair of nice Oakley's forever that I wore everyday when i worked construction for 3 years and they were awesome. I still have them too. Favorite pair of sunglasses ever for me.

i have two recommendations that won't be as pricey as oakleys or ray-bans. optic nerve (good quality at a smoking price) and smith (even better quality, a little more $$ but still reasonable)

i personally have optic nerve pneumatics and smith hudsons. i am happy with both...the coverage on the pneumatic is a little better.

I have a pair of oakleys also.

Buy a pair of sunglasses that look the best on you.
You want something that fits you the best and not the brand.

I feel that as long as the prices of each brand are the same they will perform the same also.

Thanks for the tip...I'm definitely gonna go check out those Optic Nerve sunglasses at my local bike shop. smile.gif I've wanted some nicer sunglasses, but can't justify spending $100+ on sunglasses because I'm so hard on them and often break/lose them.

what ever you get make sure that it has 100% UV protection cuz if not than it is worse for your eyes than not wearing any sunglasses at all.
i personally loved my spy's i had the microscoop. i accidentally sat on them and snapped both arms on them. i also have some oakley eye jackets that i have had forever. they don't have any scratches on them but i broke the temple on the fram being stupid. both are good glasses. you can get some real spy's off ebay for about 40. much cheaper than spending 100 on som oakleys.

Chris, some models of Oakley are very hard to break. I sit on them several times. Worst case, a leg pop off and you can just pop it back in. You won't break the lens because they are polycarbonate.

I have had Oakleys for years. I have a pair that lasted through Iraq and the rest of my 4 years in the military. I swear by Oakleys.
