So. this was a bit of a 6gc.net underground move. Before photos are posted, I like to thank Batman722, and Malpaso for helping me obtain these tail lights. With out either of them, I probally wouldnt have gotten them.

Ok...on with the show.

you might be asking yourself, "those look like my USDM tails..." I'm here to tell u they are not. Sadly I forgot to take a photo of the car with 1 USDM tail in, and 1 Euro spec tail in. You'll just have to take my word that there is a stuble difference.

Ok, so I had the car, and the camera out...so I went on a mini/quick photo shoot.

What's the difference with USDM tails?

I figured someone would want to know.

USDM:
IPB Image
The corner has a red square and an extra bulb.

Euro Spec Tails:
IPB Image
No red square, and it won't light up.

IMO its a cleaner tail then the USDM, and I didn't want the JDM tails because everyone and there brother here has them.

Its indeed alot cleaner then the USDM.

But your logic about the JDM tails confuses me. I dont add/buy stuff for the celica to be unique, I do it because I like it not because it makes me stand out of the crowd. I'm the one that drives my car everyday not some other 6GC member biggrin.gif If that was the case I would have swapped in a 4A-FE with 13 " steel rims and so on laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

true.

IMO tho, originality is cooler/better then being run of the mill/unoriginal and getting the same items as everyone else. Yes the JDM tails are "nice," but I personally like the idea of the Euro Spec tails, because there slightly different, and no one really knows except me.

I guess its just a matter of opinion and the way you look at it, Thanks for the input Kadett. thumbsup.gif

(btw id love to see your car rocking steelies and a 4a..lol)

First some repost about how Euro tails works wink.gif

IPB Image

IPB Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

now about price (I have no problem to share with that wink.gif. $120 minus paypal fee, minus exchange rate, minus shipping => $62 for pair

First I asked Toyota how much are new and (someone would be surprised) price for new pair is the same like JDM ones is! Then I called local junk yard where for sure they have some for sale and they told me: "$100 for pair"

so... IMHO about $60 is fair price for me and if anyone would like to have another set just add my costs to junk yard price and let me know wink.gif
