Hi guys, I know this is a bit off the map as far as 6th Gens are concerned but my mom's first car she ever owned was a 79 Gt liftback and 14 years ago it was put into storage. Today im going to either get it running or get it pulled out but im going to need parts.

So what im wondering is if anyone knows if/where parts mite be sold for something that old. I tryed posting on celicatech.com but i didnt get a response so i figured I'd try here.

If anyone has any ideas let me know

Thanks
Alex

Those are really nice celicas, I'm interested to see the condition yours/your moms is in! Also, try www.celica-club.co.uk. Oddly enough, they've got quite a few amazing celica there, all gens. You will only be able to post in the newbies forum and maybe the generations forum I think, until you become a full member. You'll have to pay for that. Anyways, if you do wind up finding some parts over here, let me know if you need someone to ship them for you! It's all good. (ask culpable04, I just shipped skirts for him he ordered from Leeds, Uk to NJ)

**edit**

Is that a gen2?

Actually im not sure what generation that year is... Its not in that bad of shape, tho 14 yrs in storage can do alot to the car. I know that it will need a lot of work but im up for it... im going to put up some pictures later.

I'm sure that depends. Maybe something from a gen 1 may fit on yours (maybe not gen 3 b/c they look different) but anything higher up I would say most likely no. What do you have in mind?

It's all good, if I can help at anything I will (not that I know remotely anything). I was helped out so much when I first got on this site [and everyday!] so I try to do what I can.

Seriously though, let me know.

Hoped those sites helped, all I did was use the all mighty google!
