i recently ordered headers from another member, they havent arrived yet but i already have a problem, my original exhaust manifold has two O2 sensors and the headers coming in only has a port for 1, my mechanic told me that there is something you can attach to the one O2 sensor to trick it into thinking its reading something. i really dont feel like taking the time to open up a new hole but if i have to i will. any suggestions?
thanks

actually with mine I just completely unplugged the 2nd O2 sensor and I don't get a CEL smile.gif

but when I had it plugged in it would have a CEL because the header has no cat..

I just added headers to my car, plugged in both the sensors and am yet to have a CEL. Usually when the header does not have the 2nd sensor it is because your suppose to use the cat with it? When I had my exahaust put on the guy told me if I wanted to take off my cat, he could make me an empty tank so that the sensor would plug in. I would check the length on the headers, see if it plugs into the cat or into the pipe.

Cant you just buy a o2 sensor flange and then weld it on? It shouldn't even take effort for your welder at the local muffler shop.
