Powerwise... I'm not too sure. I don't race, but I do know that it is quicker than an ST and GT. Other cars, I'm not too sure. For instance, the Yelli Celi has 130whp, but you have to think of power to weight ratios and the fact that the silvertop (and all 4A-GE engines for that matter) have no low end torque.

for example, a B13 SE-R (SR20DE) is rated at 140hp, 130tq. To the wheels it puts down significantly less than a 4A-GE 20V, but the SE-R weights a lot less than a 6th Gen, and has much more torque throughout the entire RPM range. Head to head the Celica will lose.

So I guess that was all a long-winded way of saying "It depends"

Well I purchased it already done by Coomer. Compared to the ST... jeeze I just wrote a PM with all this info.. tongue.gif

compared to the ST.. well the ST has more low end torque, so off the line the 7A will be a bit quicker, but the 20V has the 7A beat in the higher RPM's. The 7A stops producing power somewhere around 4800-5500RPM ( I might even be too high on that number) where as the 4A continues to make power up to 7000.

side by side, I think the 20V will put you back in your seat a little better than the 7A.
