actually, i did. but, yet again they're near identical engines so saying 4afte'er isnt quite as the in crowd tongue.gif
on a follow up on the 4afe swap, i've had a run with another friend of mine who owns a 97 celica st, and im quite impressed on how much quicker the 4afe is to the 7afe

and if u were wondering its japanese spec 4afe, which is rated @ 115 hp @6000 rpm (which is identical to the US spec 7afe), i have yet to find the torque numbers for the 4afe japanese spec, but in all the places i've read about the make of 4afe its naturally a much torquier engine due to its narrow valve angle.

side note : engine miles - 39,428. she's a youngin' smile.gif

so i came down to boost control. only two routes to go, manual or electronic. feel free to post what route i should go.
going in tomorrow to talk to brian from autometrics, the local dyno/tune shop. i just swung by there today to check things out! the owner had a Porsche 911 Turbo running @ 512hp. jealous much? aye!

i did some research on the Garrett Airesearch T3 Turbo, came out of a lotus espirit - runs to ~23 psi just fine which is well within my goals of 200 hp.
with a 40 trim .42 a/r compressor wheel and standard T3 trim .48 a/r turbine wheel.

but no one thinks this 200 hp is too high of a goal? cuz i have nearly an identical build to a corolla with a us spec 4afe that made 214hp on 14psi and ran strong for about 2 years on that same boost.
i wont be boosting nearly close to that to daily, probably 7psi.
14psi for track days.

Question: would the Walbro 255lph pump for a SC400 (part number# GSS 342) be a direct fit, and is 107$ a fair price for this? (after shipping)

i read the stickie on the right one, i was just double checking tongue.gif

also, should i get an FPR?

pictures of my new goodies will come later on today ::

im not sure what brand the A/F gauge is - i bought it off the same guy who i bought the turbo off of. its a single wire o2 sensor A/F gauge. its basically a light show tongue.gif
as for the header, im not sure. as for fitment on the 20v, the only difference between the 4age 20v and the 4afe 16v is the head. not like ur only 2 hours away to check if u wanted!
