Hi, I've finished my swap and i'm riding my engine for the beginning not over 5k rpm. The problem is that I read on the gauge only 7 or 8 psi... is the boost higher in higher rev?? I have no any code on the computer so this is apparently not the f&$% code 54 ...
My engine: ST185RC JDM with no modification (stock bov, stock intercooler) Thanks!! |

It sounds like your in safe/low boost mode. Also, make sure your gauge is accurate. I was trying to diagnose a boost issue for a long time. I had the boost issue and the gauge was reading low. Make sure when the engine is off the gauge reads 0 psi. |

In the stickies, there are instructions on how to install these leds, and tie them into the ecu. If you are in low boost mode, you need to find out why before you crank the boost up. My issue was the afm. Have the screws been messed with? I was able to fix my afm |

Definitely low boost mode but how I can make sure, I didn't find the stickies that you talk about. I'm gonna bypass the tvsv to 12psi. Is there any other thing than boost that is affected when running in low boost mode??

a bit off topic, i know that the RC ecu allows boost of up to 1.1bar instead of .83 bar but is it plug and play and are all RC ecu tuned at 230bhp or just the JDM's. thanks

i really dont know how whats different about the wiring, probably not much... but your going to have a hard time tracking down that afm and ecu. your best bet is to wait for user tunable rom tunes, or get the mail order one from ats.
