antennas Options

what can be doen wih these? mines royaly f***ed up and i need to replace it. im goign to be painting my car and i have to do the antenna first so what can i do ive seen the s2000 antenna and im nto sure if want to go that route. its kinda stumpy and black i want somethign that will hide it a little more. so what options do i have? ive seen the fin cool idea im not sure if its the right option for me and im really out of touch on what to do with the antenna ne advice or pictures woudl be of great help and my car gets started this week s i need to work somethign out asap. thx for your help guys

I had that dilema too. I still haven't bought a new one yet though. On ebay there are some like the s2000 in Chrome. I posted about it about a month ago and never got a reply if it would fit or not though. It's really cheap if I recall.

There's a couple of threads on this already regarding the s2000 antenna.

i dont think i want to go with the s200 antenna i wanna go with somethign a little different

go with a hidden antenna and just fill and shave the old hole.

do you honestly listen to the radio that much? get something like supradog. her's looks amazing!!!
i just went to auto zone and got a cheap $20 antenna. it works fine but i never really use it.
most people do the s2k antenna mod. i think it looks good but could always look better. get a shark fin antenna or even what batman has. his is a jetta style antenna irrc.

do something a little like the VW mount it on the roof.. this is what i wanted to do but i didnt want to deal with shaving the hole in the quarter.. but i ended up with the s2k one but this might look cool

i listen to the radio alot actually. and since im painting my cvar the shaving of the hole isnt a big deal a small fill panel bondo and its fixed im also getting rid of my toyota emblem in the back also lol im jusat treyign to find something to clean up the looks of the antenna since mines broken ne ways.

I know you don't want THE s2000 antenna.

Just go to ebay and type in "s2000 antenna" and there are ton of different looking ones on there that would probably fit our car.

could go with power antenna then goto the -how-to- forums and do the thing where it dosnt move so its just a little nub and still getting stations?

i just have wire runnin round through my hatch. i dont get stations in riverside. but i get em in other places. but, i dont really listen to the radio neways..
