Hey Guys... Have any of you tried the electric supercharger from NE performance and the ST chip that comes along with it? I would like to know if this is a good decision to buy it. Got a 94 gts with an auto tranny btw... im pretty new at this stuffs and all I know about cars are the basics like wash and change oils. Hope you guys can help me learn a lot of things... well ive been reading the forum and I have learned a lot, but I need to learn more... Thanks in advance...

The amount of forced induction it creates (if any) to add HP (if any) will be taken off due to the strain of your electronics powering the electric motor.
So say it gives you 10hp it will cost you damn near the same hp to power it. Save this thread for yourself to read in a few years (months even), if your really planning on learning more about cars/engines. Youll get a chuckle out of it. Just a drop down K&N filter, a straight pipe exhaust with a CLA muffler. I know it connects to a toggle switch then to the battery which allows me to use it only when I want it. Do I sound hard headed already? Just want to get more research on this thing...

yea huge gimick why would you hook a hair dryer up to your intake? thats all it is waste of money and a danger to your engine once one of those blades get sucked up and fly into ur engine

To start whats your goals for this car? Meh fast, somewhat fast, fast or real fast? Adding that electronic turbo onto your would take you from Meh fast to somewhere just before that .

well... dont have a target yet, as of now... just trying to get the hp higher as i work on the car and learn. Kinda like a trial and error thing. Prolly not a good idea but this will teach me a lot. I gotta start somewhere right, so I figured... hmmm maybe the electronic supercharger is a good one to start with. Isnt' the stock 5fse at 130 hp? Just want to go "somewhat fast". Another 30 hp would do.

QUOTE(jesterwr217 @ Sep 8, 2007 - 4:53 PM) lol then you can do like i did started with intake then headers then exhaust then went all out with the turbo Im with this guy ^.... I did the same installing a full intake, exhaust, Header * note Jester thinks he has sets *, underdrive pully. I slowly worked up to a turbo project. Doing all the installs yourself will teach you about your car. Trial and error learning is a huge headache and large bottomless pit for you to dump cash into. Trust me, Ive been there before. Ive' read somewhere that a drop in filter and a short ram intake would not have much difference. I'll definitely do the headers next. I have a straight pipe exhaust, I'll probably change that to a cat back. What else can you suggest. reminder: i have auto tranny.
