Well the first mod that I've done to my high beams was make them into my blinkers. if you want more info on that click Here. Other than that the housing is stock. I just made it all smooth and painted the inside black. the lense has no film or paint covering it. I am putting projectors in that I've gotten from Rayme aswell!

Looks cool - I like it! Not sure on having the blinker in there though as that means you have 6 of them on the front of the car! I reckon it would look cooler if it lit up like a third of the circle vertically instead of the small orange light though. Like this:

CODE

     ___
    /  | \
   |   | |   Blinker in this half
    \__|/

The big question is how you smoothed out the glass?

I dont have the blinkers inside the bumper on. I just have the ones in the high beams hooked up.

The big question is how you smoothed out the glass?

Smoothing them isn't a problem, just takes time, more a labor of love. Wet sand the inside, then polish/buff.

Would be easier to just buy Rayme's product. (which is nice by the way)

ra65_22re, I like how you painted the inside black, makes it look evil. (also if you don't see the shine off the lens it looks like they're left open to vent air in!)

Nice, simply beautiful.

Not quite as easy as ya think... At all... The plastic lenses are easier, but you get what ya pay for.... I have both polished glass lenses and plastic ones... I'll only use the plastic ones if the glass ones get busted....

So, let me get this. Did you use any type of shrouds what so ever? You just painted the inside of the lights?
