Hi Guys,
I was talking with my friend today who owns a local performance shop around here, and he said that some guy ordered a kit for his sixth gen but cancelled his order, so he's got the VIS Racing Z-Glide style front bumper and side skirts, and a Invader-style rear bumper for sale, and he said he'd give it to me for $300. The kit is brand new and has very few imperfections, and I could get a great deal on paint and installation I'm sure, because I've done a lot for the owner of a local body shop. The problem is, I've got a coupe, so the rear bumper wouldn't fit well without lots of modification, and I'd think that my car would look funny with a stock bumper and z-glide style side skirts and a front bumper. Also, I just ordered some Eibach sportlines that are going to drop my car 1.5", so I'm worried that my car would be way too low with a kit, and I'd scrape on everything. That's my main concern. Does anyone have any pics of a sixth gen with a Z-Glide style front lip and lowering springs that drop the car 1.5"? I really don't want my car to be too low, but it would be awesome to have a kit. What do you guys think I should do? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Man thats a good deal so I would say go for it. But i wouldn't put the invader rear on, it just wont match with the rest of the kit. Dazed over on celica.net has his car lowered 1.5 with that kit on. Here are some pic of his car. Also he has the rear peice but I don't think that he has it on yet.

get the kit coomer. even if you decide not to put it on, I'm sure you could make atleast 100-150 selling the pieces seperately. besides, coupes look GREAT with the z-glide kit.

I have the kit and have it dropped about 1.5 Inches ( I can't remember). The car is a pain in the ass to drive around. The front scrapes everywhere. I'm starting to get sick of it actually. I'm not too fond of the rear lip though but I guess something there is better than just a normal stock bumper.
You can see some pics here. ***Z-Glide pics***. |

I think that I won't buy the kit right now, because as cool as it would look, I really don't want to scrape a lot and have to worry a ton whenever I drive anywhere. For now I'll just buy some rims and lower the car I think. I'll take some pics and post the sale in the buying/selling forum I think though, so that you guys have the opportunity to get a good deal on this kit.

Coomer I would say get the kit and put a piece of metal on teh underside of the lif or get one of those metal lip spoilers. Even if you don't deside to put it on then sell it on ebay.
