Could a streached timing belt cause boging and much louder intake growl? I was tryin home today and stalled my car in traffic, after that it bogs pretty bad at lower rpms, and almost sounds like intake valves are opening to early and causeing back pressure out my CAI.

Timing belts don't really stretch. They'll just shear a bit then break. The tensioner could be loose and knock it out of timing, it could have skipped a tooth, or it could be something else.

If the tensioner is a bit too tight, it'll squeal a bit until the belt is worn in. Unless of course it's been squealing for a while now... then it could be anything...

Check your timing. If that's good, check your ignition timing. If that's good, check spark plugs and wires.

Well its not my timing belt. Swaped that out today. Got it tracked down to possible blown head gasket, or maybe 2 bad injectors frown.gif

try loosen it up a little, mine was pretty tight too when I installed it and it was making all kinds of weird noises.

on an Integra me and my friend rebuilt the head, then we put the timing off my 2 notches by accident.. when it runs, low rpms, and no power untill about 3K then it seems to just explode with power. intake is pretty loud. scary loud actually, i revved it and jumped back afraid of the growl/scream it made. maybe that can help you figure out whats going on..

Pulled my head off yesterday. Blew my head gasket between #1 and #2 pistons.
