I have friends who lived there for a bit and said it was great. warm all the time (compared to new england) cars out all year round. shallow girls with fake breasts everywhere. im sure id love it!
so, i guess id be looking around the ASU area. not because of me going to school there because i plan to work fulltime, but for the lifestyle. so people who live there, do you like it? or even people who visited. do you like it? the living seems so much cheaper out there. my friends where telling me of 200k house that compare to our 400k houses. is it really like that? any advice is cool. thanks. -------------------- |

yea, ive heard prices are cheap down there. My buddy just moved down to NC last year, and his house is huge compared to the one he lived in up here. His rents bought the house down there for cheaper too.

yes cost of living is cheaper but your salary is going to be a lot cheaper too. yes it is warm all year but it gets really hot and dry during the summer to the point where you don't want to leave your house.

I use to live out there. The cost of living in Phoenix and most of the outer suburbs is pretty cheap compared to other major cities. Tempe, where ASU is, has a high cost of living because the city is surrounded and can not expand anywhere. Great weather, beautiful women, nice people, I'd recommend it.

I went through Arizona a couple years ago and I hated it. It was the middle of summer and being outside sucked... a lot.
And of course it'll be cheap, the economy sucks. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

my parents are out there. They do the winters there and the summers in the cape.
They absolutly love it. They're always trying to get me out there, saying things like "it was cold out today, around 60 degrees, we needed a long sleeve shirt today" -------------------- |

Nice, thats the kinda stuff i like hearing. Also i heard things aren't as fast paced as they are here in mass. like random strangers will say hi to you.
I hope my accent gets me laid. When I was down south they could tell I was a "yankee" -------------------- |

My parents have a condo down there and its simply amazing. the weather is almost always nice with the exception of it being extremely hot in the summer. and some of the best golfing in the states is there too.
