My car will bot go into any of the gears. A couple of days ago it started getting harder and harder to put in gear. I had to push it into gear. Now It refuses to go in gear. Is my transmission bad or my clutch or the slave cylinder in my clutch? Is it an easy or cheap fix?

I already bled the fluid and replaced it. It takes Dot 3 brake fluid. The old fluid was dirty. There's more info.

I've had this happen twice on two different cars. I'd put money on a need to change the clutch fluid. Check the fluid it's probably very murky, and It should be crystal clear. And you can also use dot 3 brake fluid,,,it's the exact same thing and it's cheaper. You just need to completely flush the old fluid and then bleed the clutch with new fluid. I'm sure there's a write up on here on how to do it. Actually, I don't see a write on here.
Best way is to get a vacuum bleed kit and have a friend push the clutch for you b/c you might need to drain the catch reservoir. I actually have a kit that I don't need if you want it, just pm me. I'm getting rid of all my spare tools and parts.

Well me and my dad bled it but I guess it wasn't a good bleed cause it ****ed up again. It was hella dirty when we bled it. But are you sure cause my dad thinks it might also be a problem with either the slave cylinder in the clutch or that thing that opens the clutch up. But that part isn't leaking or anything.

I had this issue with mine when I first got it, as well as with a couple other cars. The fix for mine was to change out the slave cylinder. If not that then check the valve on the slave/master cylinders to make sure it makes that seal completely so that way you bleeding the brakes isn't a complete waste of time. I had a car before where one of those valves went bad. Just a thought though......

Yeah my dad and I figured out the clutch is bad. Cause the fork thing is working fine and we replaced the slave cylinder and there is no leak in the master cylinder.
