Easy if it is a LHD Celica. AFAIK, it was never an option or RHD. I ended up connecting the actuator directly to the throttle rather than to the accelerator pedal as the cruise pedal lever is handed. You'll need a barrel to terminate the cable, or get a custom cable made.

Then easy. Youl'll need:

* The foot pedal lever and bolts
* Cruise control actuator cable
* Cruise control motor (big black box near radiator) & plug & bolts
* Cruise control ECU & plug
* Cruise control steering stalk with plug
* Airbag coil (clock spring)
* Some wire. You could either unpick the appropriate lines from the engine bay and dashboard harnesses or just splice the plugs.

If the car it is going into has TVIS security, you'll need a couple of cable ties and some sticky-back foam. Otherwise, you'll need the little bracket to which the cruise control ECU was attached.

The reason being that part of the TVIS security system (the radio receiver IIRC) uses the same mounting point as the cruise control ECU. There is plenty of space to mount the two next to each other but it isn't possible to modify either bracket to allow both brackets to be used. So simply sandwich the foam between the two control units and use the nylon cable ties to securely attach the cruise ECU to the TVIS control unit.

Either way, you'll need to remove the glove box. The cruise ECU bolts up in the corner just under the passenger air vent, a bit below the wing mirror.

If you have a 3sge engine, you'll need to remove the large resonator box between the engine and the radiator as it will foul the cruise control motor otherwise. I found that a Horlicks lid was just the right size to blank off the opening.

To fix the cruise control motor, you'll need to remove the battery and the bracket for the resonator. Once the resonator bracket is removed, you will be able to bolt the cruise motor bracket in its place. Replace the battery.

Remove the accelerator (gas) pedal and trial-fit the cruise lever. Note the knock-out in the sound-deadening foam. Remove the cruise lever and remove the knock-out. There will either be a plastic plug or a metal knock-out behind it. If the former, simply remove the plug. Otherwise, you'll need to remove the metal knock-out and make good. Feed the actuator cable through, attach to cruise lever and fit the cruise lever. Route the other end to the cruise motor and attach. Clip the actuator in place along its route, using nylon cable ties if needed.

Route the seven cruise motor wires through the firewall on the passenger-side, following the route taken by the main wiring loom. Ensure that the cables are mechanically protected along their length (standard double-insulated trailer cable is ideal, otherwise use heavy-duty PVC over-sleeving). Finish off the wiring using the wiring diagram above.
