i was driving home from work one night and bam...everything went dark, not sure what happen, all i know is that my needles still work fine but then no lights (just the main 3 that lights up the speedo and tac) ...i switched out the bulbs on the cluster but still no lights..anyone have any idea what happen, cause i had to buy me a glow gauge just so i can see..been driving it with a glow gauge for like 4 months now...any help would be much appreciated thanks

ur radio and cig still work?? if so its unlikely that you have a blown fuse.
mayb burnt wires or shorted somewhere.

checked fuses and cig and radio still works...i installed one of my friends cluster and his lights come on fine for my car...but when i put my cluster back in, it just wont light up.

Check the wires going into the dimmer switch. If they are loose or disconnected your lights will go out.

dimmer wire checked and its connected in tightly... I might just use my old cluster and replace the speedo and rpm in there with the one i current have on now since my old one i messed up on the speedo and rpm needles and its not reading right anymore...

yea, i had the same problem when i changed my cluster. the problem is where your light dimmer switch is. the connectivity is either loose or bad. try taking off the covers for the steering wheel to get to the connector of your light dimmer and see if it is loose or bad. thats what i had to do. smile.gif

thanks for all your help..all i did was replace the old parts into the new one and it works just fine...will post picks when i get one taken

finally got the speedo light and gas/heat needle light working, try changing the bulb on the tac but still wont light up...the light comes on but no light on needle
