I was wondering what was involved in replacing the headlight lenses. more specifically, the high beam lense.

I have a feeling that it's glued to the assembly, and so you'd probably need to buy the whole high beam assembly.

Wait, let me guess: Drivers side high beam leaks? If so, join the club! Just buy a new beam. bout $200 from dealer, $100 junk yard quality.
Good luck, let me know how it turns out. -------------------- psalm 69 |

Before you buy new assemblies though, be sure to consider your options. The JDM crystal clear high beams can be had for approximately $160 a piece I believe. I think that that was the price given to me from Jeff at Champion Toyota.

RE: Those JDM Projectors, who has those? Cuz i gotta question for those who do. for right hand drive cars, the beams are aimed to the right, does it really bother/affect the visibility?

You'll have to re-aim them when you're installing them anyway, so it don't really matter how they were aimed. I could reaim mine if I wanted to, you just have to adjust them in your car. -------------------- psalm 69 |

i had the low beams for a while before the car went on standby. and yeah, they have a cut in them, so that they do not shine into the eyes of oncoming traffic...BUT, in japan, that's on the right side of the road...so over here, some of the brush or w/e on the right side of the road will not be illuminated, but the oncoming traffic will be. . i've had people flash their lights at me, but there's really nothing you can do about it. i have them aimed as best they can w/o looking like crap when you look at them (if you have them, you know what i mean) and i only got flashed by people MAYBE once a month. . -John- -------------------- |

Did you ever get flashed before? I usually get flashed probably about once per month with my regular lights aimed properly.
