Hey I was needing your guys help. I am planning on a 7agte build and already have bottom end built. 7afe block bored to 82mm, crower custom rods, polished balanced crank, arais 8.6:1 4age dish pistons. My question is that i found a 4age 16v donor car and the main harness has been cut but the engine harness and ecu is still intact. Will I need the main harness, ecu, and engine harness for my guages and everything to work, or do i just need the ecu and engine harness. I have an 95 celica st. Any help or ideas?

Do I still use the 7afe harness and ecu with this or the 4age ecu and engine harness. I believe I have everything figured out except what harness and ecu to use. |

I believe I have everything figured out except what harness and ecu to use. I don't think you have everything figured just yet... There are a lot of differences in the way the 7AFE and 4AGE 16V route water lines and mount accessories. As for the electricals, it's best to use a standalone, but if you want to go the easier/cheaper route, use the 4AGE ecu that corresponds to the 4AG head. You'll only need the engine harness and you'll need to modify that harness to interface with the celica dash/body harness. My reccomendation... JDM 4AGZE Map DLI harness and ecu can handle modest boost. If you wanna use USDM stuff, try to find 90-92 Geo Prizm GSI electricals with a piggyback. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
