hey everyone I decided to get my headers coated at jethot. I found out i'm able to ship the headers straight to jethot and save on shipping 2-ways. Would this be a good idea? I hear coated headers can give some trouble during installation, should I make sure everything will fit cherry before I coat them? Thanks

On a GT? I wouldn't worry about it and save the cash. I've done 3 header installs on three diff cars/engines and never had a fitment issue [except the b pipe not fitting on every one of them but we knew that going in as the Heders were made for MR2 and Corolla]. If you think you will have that problem - don't worry. You most likely will never see the b pipe from the top of the car.
Hope this helps

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
