Does the celica st have a timing belt or a timing chain... and if its a belt can I fit a timing chain on it instead by buying some cam gears and all...?

actually they say that a timing belt (which is what you have) is better than a timing chain, believe it or not a timing chain "stretches" worse than a belt, it just wont break as easily and a belt is better performance wise... or so ive heard.

well a timing chain is better it doesn't slip like a belt does..
