I don't think so on the 4 but they are right on the 6. The 6cyl come 180hp stock

ok if you were to take on a 4 banger tiburon you would win no matter what.

here are the specs.

2003 Tiburon (Manual Transmission)
RPM at Peak Horsepower 134@6000
RPM at Peak Torque 132@4500
Curb Weight Manual (lbs) 2940

1998 Toyota Celica

135 horsepower at 5400 rpm, and 145 lb. ft. of torque at 4400 rpm in every state except for California, where the engine only puts out 130 horsepower due to emissions restrictions.

The weight for a Manual Transmission Celica GT is 2,580lbs. So you have 1hp more than him at a lower rpm and 13 lb. ft more of torque at a lower rpm. Plus you weigh 360 lbs. less. So unless you are super fatass man then you shouldn't have a problem beating him.

BUT if its a GT Tiburon here are the specs for that:

RPM at Peak Horsepower 170@6000
RPM at Peak Torque 181@4000
Curb Weight Manual (lbs) 3015

It has a little more power but still weighs 435 pounds more. Get your 5s-fe turboed and they wouldnt stand a chance. You could be beating RSX Type S's...maybe.

yeah, if driven properly the rsx-s can be a pretty formidable car,

but then again i saw a kid blow his engine by misshifting as he was passing me doing prolly 130mph. i was messing around with him and he got caught in traffic, so i got about 1.5-2 miles away and he caught up quick and was passing me fast as i was cruising at 75mph

man that was funny

The Tiburon's V6 was originally a truck engine that's why it has good low end power and it just drops off up top.
