hi, welcome to the site. First off, you should post pics! 2nd, I always recommend people getting their car in great shape before they start modding it since our cars have some years on them. What all do you plan on doing with the celi?

Welcome to the forum. 800 will get you a header and intake. And a nice echaust system. I think you should spend it else where. Maybe a coilover set-up? Don't forget the mod bugs will get to you and you won't stop.

intake and exhaust (if you don't mind the sound)..
that's about it, otherwise turbo or swap it.

i would start off with suspension before anything... lowering springs, strut bars, etc

800 you can get yourself some gas struts and lowering springs and probably an ebay header, or you can save another 4-500 more and get yourself a nice Tein SS damper set, which are adjustable btw.
But welcome to the site, if anything just ask!

p.s. We've been having A LOT of new members recently haven't we?

Stock. Go with suspension and wheel / tire upgrades and call it a day.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

First of all, welcome!
Secondly, not to be mean but your best friend is the search option. I know your new to this site and there's lots of info about our cars already tackled in the forums, so Search option id the way to go. There is also a parts database on the site. Most of us here are getting our parts from the toyota dealership coz genuine toyota parts are the best way to go but they cost a lot of money. Or post wht you need/want in the buy/sell forum or watch out what you need from there too.
thirdly, good luck with the mods you're goin to do to your car, hope it turns out real awesome.

research 2nd gen 3sgte engine swaps. a minimal swap would only run you about 3,000. thats more power than your ever gonna get outta an st engine. plus you have room to expand.

welcome to the site!

Here is what I would do if I bought a stock 6gc today.

1. New Koni Yellow struts
2. New lowering springs (TRD or Tein)
3. Some 17" wheels that you like to look at with some performance rated tires

Your car will handle very nicely in the corners and will be alot of fun on those sweeping on ramps.

I would stay away from engine modifications totally. Anything you do to the stock motor will give you little to no gain and just make your car louder. If you go forced induction, you are looking at quite a bit of money, loss of stock like reliability, lessened engine life, and a car that has significant traction problems once you get to the 200whp level.

My recommendation is that if you want a faster car, sell your 6gc and buy one.

As for places to buy this equipment, google is your friend. You might want to try nopi.com for the struts.

PLEASE, stay away from the coffee can exhaust. lowering springs (Tein s.tech or Eibach Sportlines) and updating/upgrading your struts (KYB GR2). nice set of wheels. professional cleaning and detailing. a 6gc window decal. keep it clean, keep it simple or go all in with a swap (3000$).

welcome

peace
