Right - ive been trawling through forums trying to find the answer but I can't so ive resorted to this post!
Ive just changed my clock colour to blue following the threads on this forum, works a treat and looks rad! I then cut the green wire to stop it dimming when the headlights are on which worked, I then noticed however that my headunit and ac unit dims when the headlights are on and I have never notcied this before! I reconnected the green wire on that clock and it still does it! I started the engine and it still did it! My question is: is this normal and I just haven't notcied before? and secondly can it be manipulated like the clock wire? i.e. green wire cut!!! Im currently replacing the Led's in my AC unit to bright blue with bright green and red inserts, but as my AC unit is completely different to just about everyone elses (Probably becasue its an import) I'm going to post a how-to-thread! But with the new led's in place if they dim when lights are on then it kinda defeats the point! Any suggestions? -------------------- |

This is a normal thing, so your climate control lights aren't overly bright at night. Cutting the green clock wire won't do anything to the climate control lights, it only stops the clock dimming when the headlights are on.
