okay, lets see; I am buying new seats; Wanna See em?
http://www.k2motor.com/rs-blkredbnl-tm.html But my problem is that i need em to be orange. Like theese: http://www.shophyperformance.com/cgi-bin/hp/001425.html bout $100 differance, although i would like the Bomz seats, but i gotta save that extra hundred bucks if i can. lol. Anyways, Point is, everything in my ride is being done orange and black (except for the lighting) How would i go about getting rid of the red and putting orange instead? I have an idea of bleach painting, then dyeing, but what brand would be ideal? Is there another way to go about doing this? -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. Yeah, i want to; but i'm also wondering for the back seats as well; i'm eventualy going to have to make seat covers for the back seat; or remove it all together. idk... I want to keep room for the baby incase she ever does ride in my car; but that'll be years down the road... i have a bomz spoiler so i'd like to keep a matching brand name if i must. (maby i can get sponsored ) lol, whatever~ okay, i'll just buy the damn bomz seats. But what about the back seats? also, witch seats? na, i do every car a different color. Last one was black and silver, before was silver and red, before was black and red, then there was a blue and black... i like themes. Nothing normal, and i'm outragous enough that i dont much care.
Besides, orange is my favorite color. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. D-Man's post should be a sticky LOL, oh boy, you can always count on D-Man for ridiculously hilarious posts. |

QUOTE Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Nevertheless, orange is not as aggressive as red. Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain, produces an invigorating effect, and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. As a citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite. Orange is the color of fall and harvest. In heraldry, orange is symbolic of strength and endurance. Orange has very high visibility, so you can use it to catch attention and highlight the most important elements of your design. Orange is very effective for promoting food products and toys. Dark orange can mean deceit and distrust. Red-orange corresponds to desire, sexual passion, pleasure, domination, aggression, and thirst for action. Gold evokes the feeling of prestige. The meaning of gold is illumination, wisdom, and wealth. Gold often symbolizes high quality. from http://www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html -------------------- |

Good thing to have around I say go for the second set with the orange in the middle. Thanks! You think so? The second set? Cuz i was just going to paint up the dash trim; and new steering wheel. (gotta get rid of those air bags) Floor mats and that was about it, maby a random piece her or there... But i wasnt gunna go ALL out and orange the dash or nothing... but my (soon to be ) turbo piping and everything, i wanna do orange; look pretty hot with the hood up and the top down. Maby then i could park next to that Viper. Dont lie, you know you wanna see a 6g sitting next to that viper giving it good competition! Anyone know where to get orange 4 points with the reg buckle? i dont like those pin harness... Or should i keep em black? I know where to get some Black ones with no label. Not one for free advertising ya'll. But seeing as my wing is a Bomz i might as well do the seats Bomz as well... -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! I say if youre gonna do it flashy - go all out. If I was you and into that I'd paint the dash inserts orange also.
BTW - Cops in your area look for aftermarket steering wheels cause they know they can get you for the airbag Trust me the cops over there know me too well Good luck finding orange IC couplers and sorry but our cars will never give that Viper competion - but we can pretend? -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. We shall try (...yeah right...) We have to have airbags? Since when? It's a law now? the last time i had an air bag deply, it was after i hit my head on the stearing wheel; and i want expecting it to go off and just WHAM! me in the face like that... I hate airbags... There so dangerous... Sorry, i know that sounds dumb being scared of a safety device, but i'd feel alot safer without one... ANd yeah, i am doing the dash inserts orange... just not the WHOLE dash... All safety equipment included on the vehicle originally must stay on the vehicle in good working order. Driver's side airbags have been mandatory in Tx since I think '94 or '96 - something like that.

6'3" 200lbs isn't big enough? As for the rest of that statement - thanks
You know we're just messing with you - can't give a compliment like the one above without bringin you back to reality with a lil verbal bitch slappin Back to topic: Get yourself some seats [like either of the ones above] that look right already. Then go to the cloth store and get some cloth that matches and do your door cards [easy mod and I want to do mine too so we can make a day of it]. Then we'll find some paint that will match and start adding accents. I think Griffgirl has a link to spray paint with various colors available and I know a parts store that has probably 100 diff shades of high heat engine and caliper paints - all of them $5 a can. I think it's best if you find the high heat paint first as it'll be the hardest to color match if you buy other stuff first. That would look truly sweet. Sorry - not trying to plan your car out for you - I'm just really stoked about the transformation of your car. Anybody have a spare door card that I can use temporarliy to make a template?
