No, cause you can buy them now for $20. Would you really want to put a pair of coilovers on your car that cost 20 bucks?

secondly, even if you bought these pieces of crap, you'd still need a camber kit, otherwise you'd be riding unevenly on your tires after lowering it; wearing them faster, and adding to the crappy ride that your e-bay kit already has got you~

But it's your car, enjoy it how you want biggrin.gif

Just at least get a camber kit if you do ANY coil cover.

not true you just need to get an alignment and then if it is out of spec the alignment shop will install some crash bolts.

yeah, but you'd have to do that everytime you adjusted the height. witch would suck for the initial "getting it just right" phase.

besides, camber kits can be gotten for as cheap as 60-70 bucks for all 4 wheels. You'll pay close to the same in the shop for an alignment and crash bolt installation/labor.

but then again; even with a camber kit, it'd be smart to have an alignment also, just to be 100%.

Either way will work, but your going to have to do more than just "slap em on" and i'd expect Rjbibeau will agree with that also. No matter what it is you do, you'll have to do more than "slap em on"; am i right? or am i right laugh.gif

depending on the drop height i didn't even need to get an alignment when i slapped by ghetto aerospeed coilovers on back in the day. the celica does not require them..its just the way the suspension was designed unlike like the hondas. depending on the drop height you'll stay within stock specs. but if your like an inch or so from tucking then i would suggest getting an alignment. My ksports have pillowball mounts which make it hella nice for alignment shops. when you get an alignment make sure their rack is capable of doing lowered vehicles.

at the end he installed them and they were crap, he removed them and threw them away!

The paint does chip off and they start to rust.
