If I understand correctly, you'll using the ATA intercooler? Then you will get heatsoak. The 205 hood is not designed to let cool air in, but only to let heat go out

Correct me if I'm wrong but if he uses the A2A intercooler along with the st205 hood, he won't have any issues while hes driving. But will get heat soak during idle.

QUOTE(bccentaur3 @ Apr 24, 2008 - 4:49 PM) Correct me if I'm wrong but if he uses the A2A intercooler along with the st205 hood, he won't have any issues while hes driving. But will get heat soak during idle. You are wrong. The st205 hood doesnt have a hood scoop for the intercooler, only a heat vent for the exhaust manifold (not the same thing). That a/a intercooler is only good for 2 things. 1. heatsoaking 2. cooking hamburgers. When you swap, you HAVE to upgrade the intercooler. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

i would presume that getting piping and a fmic would be cheaper, and most likely more effective than souricng a good w/a and installing it.
