so far ive filled it up about 4 times. first time i got 20 but it was all highway. second time i was kinda hard on it and i got 19. last week i got 18 being extremely cautious! never went above 3k rpms and not going above 65 ever! tonight i filled it up. (13.56 gal. after getting 230.6 miles.) this week is the lowest so far. being even easier on the car than before it comes out to 17. i don't understand this.. im doing my rear brakes this weekend. my next step is to have a shop clean my injectors and fuel rail real good. hopefully that will make a difference. haven't checked the 02 sensor yet..any other suggestions?

Thanks, Erich

Time for a new o2 sensor.

I said that the first time he posted about bad mileage.

no need to have a shop do anything, just stop being dumb and change your 02 sensor.

If you can't figure out how to do that, have someone else do it for you.

x2 on the o2 sensor, did you give it a good tune-up as well? Check the throttle body and plugs

DONT waste your money going to a shop. All they do is pour in a 3$ bottle of injector cleaner into your gas tank and charge you 50bucks for the service. You wont see any benefit from doing it either and it wont have any effect on your gas millage.

To give you an example, I get 19mpg out of my car...at 15psi of boost. If your getting similar results from your automatic gt, then your o2 is shot.
